Pan Fried Greek Lemon Chicken Rice

Chunks of juicy chicken with perfectly cooked fluffy basmati rice. An incredible Greek chicken rice recipe infused with lemon juice and selected spices.

  • 4-5 Chicken Thighs
  • 300g Basmati Rice, raw
  • 2 Knorr Chicken Cubes
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. dried Oregano
  • 2 Tbsp. dried Marjoram
  • 1 Tsp. crushed Pepper
  • 3-4 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 Tsp. turmeric
  • 1 Tsp. chili powder
  • 1 Lemon, juiced
  • Water to boil Rice


  • In a pan, add olive oil. Put the thighs skin side down to ensure crispiness. Then, add the onion, garlic, turmeric, chili powder, pepper powder, lemon juice and dried herbs. Fry for a few minutes till fragrant.
  • Add the washed rice, Knorr Chicken Cubes and sufficient water. Stir well. Bring to boil.
  • Season with salt to taste and serve hot.
