Corn and juicy beef wraps

A nicely spiced, easy to make grilled beef and corn filling for flatbreads. These delicious wraps are sure to be a hit for the whole family.

  • 500g beef
  • 2 Knorr seasoning Cubes
  • 100g Astra
  • 100g corn kernel
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes cut in to dices
  • 3-4 green chili, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon crushed pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parata or chapatti to wrap


  • In a bowl add 50 g of Astra, chili powder, pepper, vinegar, salt and mix well to form a paste.
  • Rub the beef with the Astra seasoning paste and let marinade for 30 minutes. Then roast or bake the beef in a moderate oven till the meat is done.
  • When beef is cooked shred the meat and set aside.
  • Heat a pan and melt the remaining Astra. Add onion and green chili and cook till fragrant. Add corn and shredded beef and sauté for a few minutes. Mix in the tomato and Knorr seasoning cubes. Combine well and take off from heat.
  • Place a few spoonfuls of the beef and corn mixture on a Parata and fold to form a nice and neat wrap.
  • Serve hot.

    Any meat can be a substitute for Beef
