Baked Pasta Sri Lankan Style

Pasta combined with vegetables, sausages and spices, baked to perfection. The coating of flavoured egg and cheese gives added taste and moisture to this dish that will truly tingle those taste buds. A great meal for the whole family.

  • 200g Boiled Pasta
  • 250g Boiled Potato (mashed)
  • 100g Chicken Sausages
  • 5 sachets Knorr Maldive Fish Powder Mix
  • 50g Grated Carrot
  • 50g Sliced Leek
  • 1 no Chopped Onion
  • 2 cloves Chopped Garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Chili Flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper Powder
  • 30g Astra
  • 200g Mozzarella Cheese
  • 5 nos
  • Eggs (beaten)
  • Salt to taste


  • Heat Astra in a pan, add garlic and onion. Cook till fragrant.
  • Ad sliced sausages and sauté for a minute. Now add the vegetables and saute. Add spices and Knorr Maldive Fish Powder Mix. Stir well to combine.
  • Add boiled pasta and potato. Mix well.
  • Apply Astra in a baking tray, spoon in the pasta mixture and level the surface.
  • Lightly beat the eggs and pour over the pasta. Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
  • Bake in a moderate oven at 180o C for 20-25 minutes.
  • Serve hot.
  • Chef’s Tip:

    When whisking eggs, add a sachet of Knorr Maldive Fish Powder Mix to enhance the flavour.
