Dhal Omelet
This is an omelet with a difference. It is a quick, easy and protein-packed breakfast or dinner for kids and adults.

Ingredients
- 100g dhal
- 1 Knorr Chicken Cube
- 3 eggs
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2-3 green chilies, chopped
- 10g Astra
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
METHOD
- Boil the dhal in just enough water with the turmeric and chili powder. Just before the water evaporates, mix in the Knorr Chicken Cube.
- Mash the boiled dhal well with a spoon or use a blender. While blending, add the eggs and Astra. Then, pour the mixture into a bowl and mix in the chopped chili and onion.
- Melt a knob of Astra in a frying pan and add the dhal and egg mixture in batches. Let it cook halfway and then fold in carefully, to form an omelet.
- Serve hot.

Chef’s Tip:
You can sprinkle a little thick coconut milk on the omelet when cooking, to make it creamier.
