Dhal and spinach soup
This hearty lentil soup features the wholesome goodness of spinach. The Knorr Chicken cube gives a fantastic flavour to this delicious, easy to make soup.

Ingredients
- 100g dhal
- 2 Knorr Chicken Cubes
- 200g spinach
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 litre water
- Salt and pepper to taste
METHOD
- Put the dhal, onion, garlic and water into a pot. When the dhal begins to boil, add the spinach and the Knorr Chicken Cube. Cook for a further 2 minutes, take off the heat and allow let it cool.
- Blend the above mixture to make a puree. Return to the pot, bring to boil, and season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.

Chef’s Tip:
Before you take the pot off stove, add a bit of fresh cream to get a creamier consistency and added flavour.
