Tom Yum Soup

Scrumptious seafood soup which is tangy, spicy and aromatic, infused with exotic herbs. Relish one of Thailand’s signature dishes at home!

Ingredients

  • 50g prawns, deshelled and deveined
  • 50g cuttlefish, cut in to strips
  • 50g fish, cut in to small cubes (tuna)
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemongrass, cut in to slices
  • 1 tablespoon onions, chopped
  • 1 lime, juiced of
  • 1 packet Knorr Nasi Goreng Mix
  • 1 Knorr Chicken Cube
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon Astra
  • ½ cup thick coconut milk
  • Handful of coriander leaves
  • 1 ½ litres, water

METHOD

  • Melt Astra in a pan. Now add garlic, ginger and lemongrass. Sauté till fragrant, add water and bring to boil.
  • Next add Knorr Cube, green chili and seafood. Cook for 2 minutes and then add the Knorr Nasi Powder, chili powder and coconut milk. Boil for another 2 minutes and turn off heat.
  • Finally add the lime juice and shredded coriander leaves. Serve hot.
  • Chef’s Tip:

    Slightly pound lemongrass stalk to release more flavor and aroma.
